This is fluffy, crimpy, soft GLOW-IN-THE-DARK (!) fiber for all your eerie and/or awesome spinning and blending needs! It's pure polyester made from plastic mixed with glow-in-the-dark pigment, much like all those glow-in-the-dark plastic stars that are permanently stuck to so many kids' bedroom walls.
This fiber is not feltable on its own, but it can be easily blended with feltable fibers for wet felting or needle felting.
I have two weights of this glow-in-the-dark fiber in stock, 6 denier and 1.5 denier. Both types glow equally brightly (as seen in the photos) and both are next-to-skin soft. The 6 denier fibers have a 2 inch staple length, while the 1.5 denier fibers are slightly shorter, with a 1.5 inch staple length.

BLENDING: It's a hard call, but I recommend the 6 denier fiber for regular blending, as the individual fibers have more surface area and their glow will appear brighter when mixed with non-glowing fibers. The 1.5 denier fiber is cobweb-thin, ideal for laceweight yarn or even thread. The finer fiber is also fine for blending, but I recommend blending a higher ratio of the 1.5 denier fiber to other, non-glowing fibers. Because the 1.5 denier fiber is so thin, it is best to card it with a very high TPI carding cloth (cotton handcards are fine, 120-190 TPI cloth is fine) -- otherwise nepps may form.
Before blending or spinning, you may need to gently tease apart some "locks" of this fiber -- it's a bit compacted in parts. Please contact me if you'd like your fiber pre-fluffed or pre-carded (additional charges apply).

I ship items to countries other than the United States only AT THE BUYER'S RISK -- I cannot replace packages that have been lost or damaged in the mail. This is a firm policy. You can track your package's location until the point it leaves the United States using its customs number, which I will provide to you upon shipping your package.
Packages are sent via USPS First Class Mail International Parcel; your package may be in transit anywhere from 1-3 weeks (shipments to Great Britain seem to take the longest). Please contact me if you would prefer a different method of shipment. Additional charges may apply for alternative shipping arrangements.
I am not responsible for any customs fees that you may incur as a result of importing goods.
